I have been a widow for 35 years. I raised 3 boys on my own. I worked as a public health nurse and a professor of public health nursing in urban and rural settings. I was raised in a small town in the Midwest. I have been retired about 8 years. I play in a small recorder group, volunteer in the library book shop, knit, bicycle, and talk politics. I recently sold my house and now live in an apartment in a university town.
