I would describe my experience as well succed! I started conversations with members from different countries, and even started a friendship with one of them! Be honest, kind and interested in with others have to say and you will receive all of it back.

After visiting Japan this spring, I wanted to find other native Japanese speakers I could correspond with via-snail mail because I greatly valued the cultural connection of speaking to others with different cultures than my own, and I wanted to have a way in which I could casually continue practicing the language, having studied it for years but no longer had many opportunities to continue using it after graduating university.

I since have written to and heard back from many people across the globe and within the US, and love hearing all kinds of perspectives From across the world. Legitimately site and user base— nothing shady or to worry about using (as was my initial concern, as I’m sure many may be when considering pen pal sites.) Respectful, safe, and moderated community makes for a safe user experience.
