I have met many nice people and have enjoyed corresponding with them. It is a good way to meet people from other countries and learn about their lives and customs.
If this was an app it would be so much easier then you could get notifications if somebody added you or messaged back instead of logging onto the site every time. Otherwise its super easy

Over the years I’ve used Global Penpals to find me new friends to connect with from around the world and learn about where they live, and forming lasting friendships…. I still keep in touch with one from 2015! When I was at school in the 1970s I used to have over half a dozen penpals (sourced from a specialist newsletter through the post) from all over the world. Having lost touch with them over the years I wanted to rekindle an enjoyable hobby.
