It's great that you can choose who can contact you. Especially as a woman it's reassuring to know that not any creepy person can contact you. So far I've only had good experiences with this website and met some very good friends through it.
If this was an app it would be so much easier then you could get notifications if somebody added you or messaged back instead of logging onto the site every time. Otherwise its super easy

I’ve been using this site for a few months now and I’ve really enjoyed it! I’ve met one of my best friends from Iran on this site and we still talk to each other, as well as one of my other friends from England! While I do use the free version of this website and there are certain limits that come with it, I’ve really enjoyed my time on the website and I will love to continue meeting people on it.
