I love this site because it's so simple to use and to find people to connect with. The profiles are easy to fill in and help you find good matches for penpals, and the free version works very well considering it is free! I can't comment on the paid version as I don't have it, but I think the benefits would be well worth it!

A largely positive experience. Positives include meeting new people directly and indirectly, the actual letter writing itself, the sharing of different cultures. Negatives include the odd person with whom it transpires you don't want to continue correspondence for whatever reason. But a polite discontinuation letter sorts the matter. Overall I am pleased I joined.
