I have loved being able to connect with people from around the world. Being an introvert I struggle to make friends so connecting with people through writing has been a real joy.

when I first stated on this website, I was only looking for one maybe two people that I could write actual letters to. Now I have 8 different pen pals, including one from Germany, another from Australia, and another from Finland. I have learned about their cultures , their lifestlye and their land. I learned that Germany has almost the same landscape that is around my area. I found out about the different words that are used in Austalia to describe things. I have seen beautiful rivers in Finland. Not to mention my pen pals in Oregon, South Dakota, virginia, and one is from Appleton which is only two hundred miles from me. The one thing that I have really loved about this site is the fact that much of what we do is the same as other countries. They love and live the same as the other countries. We are on one big planet and we should all talk with each other.

It's a nice site. I've got many friends through this site. All are genuine.My prime consideration while joining this community was to know different languages, traditions and customs of different countries.Now I am getting in abundance what I expected.

I really enjoy this site, and getting to know new people. I have made some good friends on here, plus able to send post cards. Recieving them really makes my week! :D

I have a hard time meeting new people in person, and speaking up. Through a screen has always been easier.
