I came across this website when Google-searching for a site to communicate with people abroad. I travel frequently (for a love of seeing the world) and enjoy chatting to locals and gaining an insight to small town cultures in other countries.
Having completed my profile, I sent out around 10 Smiles, and have received 8 replies. I have now had 3 conversations set up on this site and a letter posted (& hopefully crossing one mid Atlantic to me).
A wide variety of all age groups and countries- there's someone to suit anyone.
I had to contact the admin team a couple of times and they responded within a few hours.

It may take a while to find a steady penpal, but majority of the people here are really nice! I'll definitely continue to use this place to find more penpals :)
