I met some really nice people all over the world on this site! It's really easy in use and to find people with same interests.

I joined the site specifically for snail mail penpals and I currently have 6 or so penpals that I correspond with. It is so great to have friends through the written word. The only downside so far is the weird rule that photo 1 has to include yourself. It has not prevented me from connecting with people though. Also, if you are going through your matches, you need to be careful of the "random" blocks from the website itself that prevent you from contacting without becoming a paying member, even though you were matched with them. I'd prefer to just not be matched with them in the first place. But overall, Global Penfriends is straight forward and works as it was intended to work.

I am happy that I joined Global Penfriends. I found (as well I think I still find) great, nice people to chat to, to write letters, to learn from.

Interesting experience. I learn a lot about my friends' country and their lives. I'd like to visit them sometime in the future.
