River Iller and kayaking
If you´re into watersports, you might like the Iller. It´s a 146 km long river, flowing through some Bavarian towns, for example, Ulm, Kempten and near Memmingen. There are some rougher parts, where you can go whitewater rafting and canoeing, but also some places where the water is still and you can try stand-up paddling and just enjoy kayaking. If you´re planning to go on tour along the Iller, you should consider that there are some places e.g. weirs, where you have to lift your canoe out of the water and carry it around.
