Fasting Ramadan

Every year we celebrate a month called Ramadan. In this month Muslim fast from down to sunset. Firstly This month is deducted to god. during these 30 days Muslims share the same thing. All of the them feel hanger and thirst during the day in order to feel and experience what poor and needy people feel. With this experience we are encouraged to help each other more. Secondy it helps to strengthen the family ties. during the preparation of the supper or the breaking of the fast after sunset we are gathered all together one family to share the meal and praying. Therefore we feel a strong bound during this blessed month. Also we are consionce about our consomption that why we try not to prepare food over what we need.wm with minimum waste. We maintain strong relationships with our neighbors. We organise events in our town or our neighborhood to break the fast together all the families. You will see the streets decorated and the table well prepared and everyone can share meals with no difference. After breaking the fasting we sit together some tells stories some recit quoran and some watches TV Programs until the time of icha prayer at night approximately 2 hours after sunset. We go to pray taraweeh in the mosque and let me tell you it is the the most relaxing thing ever. When you see all these people gathered in peace and worship of god. Men are in one side and women are in another side. Standing aligned close to each other praying and recting dua to god our creator to thank him for all his blessings and forgiveness and we ask him to forgive us and bless us with joy and happiness. We ask him to keep us in the correct path and to stay away from bad things. This speritual activity makes us so conforted with peaceful heats and happy greatful souls. During this month we are encouraged to help the week and donate to the poor and to take care of the elders. And to watch for whom needs our help and try to help with whatever way possible. We learn to stay away from selfishness, to share the best and the worst of times together, to feel greatful and loved by people and to share love and empathy. Note: not my image.
