In the the seaside town of Y Rhyl, we speak Welsh. I live right by the beach! The weather is always really cold and rainy but when it is nice everyone goes to the beach or the promenade. We get a lot of tourists to stay over on the Beach Front and we have a few shops. The closest place to shop for nice clothes is 30-40 minutes away in somewhere called Llandudno. Rhyl is a really small town, you can walk from one side to the other in just over an hour. Every year we celebrate an event called ‘The Rhyl Airshow’. Everyone gathers on the beach front to watch a show of Planes/Stunt planes/ Helicopters and lots more. The activities are normally kite surfing/ jet skiing and other sports to do with the sea. Everybody knows each other and we are a very close community.
