Las Fiestas Patrias

On September 18th we celebrate "Las Fiestas Patrias" or also known as the week of 18. It is the celebration of the first government meeting (similar to "independence"), where everyone joins to take the typical Chilean drinks: piscola, chicha, terremoto (pieño, granadine and pineapple ice cream) ... also Dance "cueca" (traditional dance) and eat bbq, "choripan" and pine empanadas. The best time of year to come to know the Chilean culture. There are fondas, where you dance, eat and have fun with family and friends
