Charro Days Annual Tradition

This is annual event in my city. Since we are a border town to Mexico, there are a lot of traditions that merge. One of these being "Charro Days" were the two cities collaborate as one to celebrate their heritage. It is a week-long celebration where my city holds parades, festivals, and carnivals. We have famous people of Mexico come over and we treat them as special guest. We call them Mr.Amigo/Mrs. Amiga; depends on their gender. We even had former president Barack Obama come and celebrate with us. We fed him local and authentic Mexican food which he loved. We have this event so the sister cities become one instead of separating because there is a border between us. The pictures below were taken through out the years that I have taken apart of Charro Days. The last one being the latest picture.
