Juhannus ( or midsummer’s day)

Juhannus is celebrated at the end of June when the days are longest in Finland (in Lapland it’s called the nightless night). On Juhannus people have bonfires, eat grilled food and go to the sauna or swim at midnight! Some people go to their summer cottages or just spend time with relatives and friends.
