Covered Bridge

Like many towns in New England, my town’s covered bridge was built in the 1700s during the colonial times. During the Revolutionary War, there was a stand-off here between British spies and Patriot women who had stayed behind to run their farms while their husbands fought in the war. Now, our town hosts re-enactments and parades here.
