Temple of Debod

Temple of Debod is an Egyptian temple from the 2nd century BC. Egypt donated it to the Spanish government to save it from the floods the construction of the great Aswan Dam originated. It is now in Madrid in a high location so, besides seeing the beautiful temple, you also can get good views of part of the city. The best time to visit the temple is when the sun is setting; the lights of the temple turn on and the evening sky is reflected on the water.
