Dirndl or Lederhosen

It is a myth that Germans wear a Dirndl or Lederhosen all the time. I have never even owned such an item. Some people wear those clothes when they go to the famous Octoberfest. Also there are some people in Bavaria who might in deed wear those items more often. But in all the other places in Germany usually nobody wears those type of clothes.
