Sporting event called The Palio

In the city of siena, ther is a sporting event calld "the palio",its essentially an horse race,wher the horses have to run around the central square. the interesting part about it is that this event is extremely important for the peoples of siena, mor often than not the end of a palio results in fights in the streets. the city is devided in varius districts calld "contrade",who take part in the event.
