Pongal festival

We celebrate pongal as a day of havest and thereby paying our respect and gratitude to all the factors that were for the growth of the crops.I is celebrated for 5 days in the month of January when we make pongal which is usually sweet for 5 consecutive days,for showing our gratitude towards things,sun, cows and etc. It is a week of fun feast and fiesta in Tamilnadu,India.
