Gillette Castle

A massive castle in CT that was designed by William Gillette. A man who is famous for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes. The actor designed secret doors and passageways to make a dramatic entrance for his guests and installed mirrors on the ceilings of the main hallway so he can see the people in this hallway from his bedroom.
