Festival City

Edmonton is called the Festival City because we host a bunch of festivals. Most of them are during summer, because the weather is so nice. My favourites are the Fringe Festival- a theatre festival where 200 plays are performed during 10 days, Edmonton Folk Fest- one of the biggest folk music festivals in Canada and one of the biggest events in Edmonton (seriously everyone loves it) and pride festival - after the parade there’s some great performances at Strathcona park. Sadly lots of festivals were cancelled this year because of covid-19 but hopefully i’ll get to experience them next year :)
