Sweden’s “traditions”

When we celebrate midsummer in June then we go to a place where they put up a “midsommarstång” that is like a tall cross type of pole, dressed in leafs and flowers. At the place there is always some type of food and different stations were you can buy homemade things. We all dance in a circle around the pole and sing different Swedish songs. The pole symbolizes the testicle of earth? Then we have “valborgsmässoafton” that is when we celebrate that it is spring, we do that the last day of april. We basically light a biiiiig bonfire ? and sing different songs. There is also food there. The last thing is after our summer graduation we have a family tradition to go to the pizza place “origano” and eat there with my family and grandma.
