Pow-Wows

A pow-wow is a public visual of our traditional dances and within the categories of the dances, the dancers compete against each other to see who is the best out of each group. There are different age groups. Tiny tots (newborns-6) little girls/boys (6-12) teen girls/boys (12-17) womens/ men (18-50) golden age (50+) and these pow wows happen all over the world and I’ve too have danced throughout my life. And it’s fun to meet people all over the US or the world and it’s a big celebration of our culture and a public display so outsiders can see it and learn
