The Big Duck

Long Island is a very strange place. A prime example is the Big Duck. Located in the small town of Flanders, it is, as you can see, a twenty-foot (6.096 meters) tall building shaped like a mallard. It was built in 1931 by, you guessed it, a duck farmer. No ducks live there today, but legend has it every Halloween the duck comes to life and steals eggs from all local supermarkets. Just kidding. It’s just a giant duck. But I bet you can’t say your homeland has one.
