Day of the Dead

One of my favourite Mexican traditions is Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos). The preparation takes days, because we usually buy all the elements that form part of the offering (ofrenda) some weeks in advance. And we also cook the favourite meals of the members of our family that are not longer living on this Earth. Whether you are religious or not, it is a special day of the year where the country is full of colours, food, music and "Catrinas".
