Eid celebrations in the USA

The day before Eid i make sure all my clothes are ready and clean. It gets hard to fall asleep from how excited i am. In the morning i wake up early and dress up in my new clothes and then my dad and older brother would give me "Eidia" which is eid money. Basically like how in Christmas you get "gifts". When the whole family is ready we all get into the car and sing joyful songs about eid till we reach the mosque. Usually aunts and uncles and older family members give us "eidia" too and we all look forward to that. When we arrive we pray the Eid prayer and after that go out and celebrate these joyous times.
