Traditional holidays
Americans like to participate in all kinds of traditions for holidays. My pictures are from Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas. On Thanksgiving, we eat a large meal together and say what we are thankful for. On Halloween, we dress up in costumes and go to all the houses in our town, where people give all the children treats like candy. On Christmas, parents decorate a tree with lights and ornaments. Then, when the children are asleep, the parents put gifts under the tree. In the morning, everyone awakes to open their gifts. There are many other holiday traditions that we have, but too many to list here.
