Hiking in the Pacific NorthWest

Living in Western Washington, there are a lot of hiking opportunities in the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges. The mountain ranges create beautiful sunsets and the views from the top are beautiful as well. Most of the hikes are very difficult and are mostly at an incline. In the winter lots are closed because the trails are covered in snow. Even though the hikes are not easy, the sense of accomplishment you get after a hike is an amazing feeling. More experienced hikers can attempt these trails, but my family avoids them.
