(American) Thanksgiving

(American) Thanksgiving is a federal holiday celebrated on the last Thursday of November. The first Thanksgiving America had was back in 1621 when Americans were going to celebrate their first harvest. To also show their peace with one of the Native American tribes, they also celebrated the first Thanksgiving with the Wampanoag tribe. This event had a major impact on America. In modern-day Thanksgiving traditions, families will gather around and have a feast together, consisting of turkey, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, stuffing, biscuits, gravy, and many other choices of food!
