on New Years eve, we have a plate of food and when the clock hits 10 sec, we shove food in our mouths, we also have coins I our pockets, we turn on every light in the house, and when it hits New Years, we jump up and down and scream. the food part is so that we have food in our mouths all year around, the coins is so that we have money, the light is so that we have light every day, and jumping up and down is just a fun part
