Nauryz New Year

Nauryz is traditional New Year in Kazakh culture. It is 22 March, when the day is the same length as the night. People celebrate by visiting each other, hugging and saying thank you for your well-being for a whole year, and cook delicious traditional dishes. For example, Baursak is a sweet doughnut, Nauryz kozhe is a drink made from milk, wheat, meat and grains.
