Alumbrados- Decorative Illumination and Sightseeing in Medellín
Every year, for the preparation of Christmas and New Year, in every city of Colombia de local government designs and builds the illumination for that year. Every single park, mall and Main Street is decorated with glowing lights, and as a whole build a subject (ie. flowers, birds, traditions, people, Christmas, etc). It is custom to go to the park, mall or main streets to see the illumination for that year. You can go with your family or friends. As well, you can sightsee walking and in a car. Finally, vending stops of traditional food locate close de illuminations for hungry passengers. It is definitely a must-see!
