The Gerga’aan celebration

The (Gerga’aan) is a three day celebration in the middle of Ramadan. It is similar in concept to Halloween. Children go around the neighborhood and sing songs to get candy. We wear traditional clothes and give candy to kids. It is a colourful celebration that both kids and adults enjoy.
