King’s day Netherlands

King’s day is a national holiday in The Netherlands. It is celebrated on april 27th (birthday of our king Willen-Alexander). Everyone celebrates it by wearing orange (our national color), partying, concerts, eating special treats, going to flea markets, etc. Whenever we used to have a queen it was called Queen’s day.
