High School in Italy

In Italy we study a lot ever since Primary school. When we finish Middle School we have to choose among three types of High School on account of how much we are willing to study. There are Istituto Professionale, Istituto Tecnico and Liceo (from the easiest to the most difficult). I go to a Liceo Classico, which is the type of Liceo where you study Latin, Greek and most humanistic subjects such as Literature. (It is also considered the most challenging school in Italy). Anyway, here comes the interesting part. My school is in an Italian small town called Albano (near Rome), I walk with my friends there every morning and the buildings, the shops, even the streets are artistically beautiful. The days we have Latin or Greek we have to walk uphill carrying enormous and heavy dictionaries, everyone in the streets recognise us as students of the Liceo Classico thanks to that. Sometimes we go to the other building of the school, which is about 100 m away from the main school building, when you go there it seems you’re entering a Dark Academia postcard. It is a building situated in the very entrance of the Vatican City, it has a huge field around it and it is over one hundred years old. Down here there are some photos of Albano and of the entrance of the school.
