Mountain cabins for Easter

It is very common for Norwegians to own or rent a cottage some distance outside their home. Cottage tradition is something that has been around for many years. Easter is celebrated in the cabins, the winter months are spent at the cabin many weekends. Cabin and ski activities go hand in hand and many have cabins close to resorts or cross-country ski resorts, but also summer activities such as hiking and fishing are part of cabin life. To be at the cabin is to be close to nature, grill a fire or have a fire in the fireplace and not to mention spend time with friends and family.
