Ledug Suro

Ledug Suro is an annual event held in Magetan, a small town in East Java, to welcome the Islamic New Year. The main event is "Bolu Rahayu". "Bolu" or Bolu cake is similar with spongecake but the shape is like an egg. The term "Bolu Rahayu" means montaneous Bolu cakes which are believed can bring luck to the people.
