Cèilidhs - Parties

Cèilidhs are parties we have in scotland that have haggis (a traditional food), bagpipes (an instrument) and scottish country dancing. we normally have these on holidays like christmas eve, burns night and new years (or hogmanay, as we call it). the dances have specific steps that everyone knows and we learn them in november/december time instead of gym. normally everyone wears a bit of tartan and you might get pulled up to dance by someone you don’t even know :)
