Christmas calendar windows

The old town of Raahe, just like some other towns in Finland, that have and old wooden house area nearby the town center, has this Christmas calendar tradition. On December 1.-24. private people or businesses decorate their Christmas windows, every day before Christmas a new calendar window opens. There is a map of the old town and all the windows. The Christmas windows are open until January, usually around Epiphany (Jan. 7th).
