Harvest/Autumn events in Northeast USA

During the autumn months the community is very lively and full of excitement surrounding fun harvest events. People go pumpkin picking, harvest crops, and go to bigger events like hayrides and hot air balloon rides. One of my favorites is the fair that comes to my town every September-November. There’s games, snacks, rides, animals, a float competition, and local marching bands and organizations that walk with the floats in the parade. Students usually go with their friends on the day that tickets are free for residents. It’s a great experience for newcomers or people traveling in the area!
