Lake Harriet

As a child, Lake Harriet had been the go to place. Spring my dad took the family to Lake Harriet to fish, summer we went swimming at Harriet Beach, fall we went to the bandshell to listen to local musicians and winter my dad and I took weekly drives around Lake Harriet for daddy daughter time followed by dinner. In 2009, a local artist added a friendly lake creature to Lake Harriet. Not sure what it got named but I call it Harriet! My Husband and I make trips to the lake for fishing trips and just to drive around the lake!
