Canandaigua Lake
This is beautiful Canandaigua Lake. It is one of my favorite places in my country. It is part of the eleven Finger Lakes in upstate New York. The entire area is called the Finger Lakes region. The lakes are long and thin, they look like fingers on the map, which is where they get their name. People from the Finger Lakes region love these lakes. They grow grapes in the hills for wine, and make delicious grape pies. There are rivers, streams, and brooks everywhere, along with magnificent waterfalls. Hiking in this area is very relaxing. The city of Canandaigua, named after the lake, is at the north end of the lake. On the south end of the lake is the town of Naples, named after the city in Italy.
