Liechtenstein National Holiday

On the 15th of August we celebrate our National Holiday. This celebration takes place since the year 1940. The festivities are officially started at the castle with a speech held by politicians and the prince himself. The whole country - or at least everyone who wants to participate (including tourists) - comes together in the capital Vaduz to celebrate. Organizations all over the country have stalls where they sell stuff. There is live music everywhere and you can sit down and enjoy a drink or food. At 10 pm sharp the 30-minute firework takes place.
