Halloween celebrations

Originally called Samhain by the Celts, it has been morphed into this wonderful holiday of open yet innocent debauchery, costumes, candy, and a fabulous excuse to watch (and get away with) B grade horror movies. The wonderful pagan Celts celebrated their new year with a feast after the harvest was complete, and the Americans feast on candy. Since we are a melting pot of different cultures, this holiday has been very close to my heart due to my Celtic roots. From honoring the ancient celebration of the harvest and remembering the dead to just the spooky door to door Trick-or-Treat, to full blown running amuck (responsibly) ... Halloween in the States is for everyone.
