Śmigus-dyngus holiday

Śmigus-dyngus, Lany Poniedziałek (Wet Monday), or Dyngus Day is a Polish holiday celebrated on Easter Monday. As the name may suggest, the main objective of the day is to pour a bunch of water on other people! Historically, it was a terrifying day for girls to leave their houses because of young boys trying to pour entire buckets of water on them. Nowadays most people celebrate it by waking up their loved ones with a spray of tap water or staging water fights with friends.
