Kurbits

Kurbits are a decorative painting art from Dalarna (where I'm from) with a distinctive decor of fantasy plants with large flowers and leaves. Kurbits are both a independent decor and a complement to the narrative scenes of the valley painters. Older times of Kurbits are most often associated with religious motives on walls and furniture. Today, the style is used for craft items and in different types of designs.
