Strawberry Festival
In my hometown in Florida, we have the Strawberry Festival. Its very popular, we have celebrity acts that come. From Dan Akroyd and Jim Belushi (as the Blues Brothers) to Kevin Costner and his band. Plant City, Fl, US is considered with winter strawberry capital of the world. It lasts almost 3 weeks, we have a large parade with local celebrities, and pretty much every school in the county marching or riding on floats in it. There are rides, any possible way that a strawberry can be prepared to eat, and of course the pageant for the strawberry king and queen.
