Visiting my distant cousin

Every week on friday I go to visit an old man in a retirement home nearby. This old man is in fact a very far cousin of mine! Our common ancestor is a man born in 1742, named Jan Zeeman. He had two sons: Cornelis and Jakob. Cornelis is his ancestor, and Jakob is my ancestor.
