November 5th Guy Fawkes

On November the Fifth (often called Fireworks Night or Guy Fawkes Night) we burn a giant wooden effigy of a man named Guy Fawkes. We usually light bonfires and set off tons of fireworks. We celebrate the day that we stopped somebody from blowing up parliament. There’s even a little rhyme; Remember remember the fifth of November, gunpowder treason and plot, I see no reason why gunpowder and treason should ever be forgot.
