Hanukkah celebrations

Hanukkah is a holiday celebrated by myself and other Jewish people throughout the world. Every year Hanukkah occurs on the 25th of Kislev (a month in the Hebrew calendar.) Hanukkah lasts 8 nights and it celebrates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. A candle is lit on the Menorah (a special candleholder) each night of Hanukkah to celebrate the miracles of the holiday. I also get to exchange gifts with family and friends, play dreidel, (a game played with a 4 sided spinning top) and eat latkes (potato pancakes) and sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts.)
