Crop Over Festival

Originated from slavery times, when the sugar cane harvest was over on plantations a big festival would be thrown. This festival includes different activities, music and dances with tons of different foods to enjoy. It has been passed on throughout the years and is still celebrated today. This festival is celebrated over the course of three months. The main spectacle is when everyone dresses up in colorful costumes that mostly have feathers and show them off.
